Insolvency Law
In the department of insolvency law, we counsel and represent debtors and creditors in all phases of insolvency and before insolvency. Already when a crisis is beginning to emerge, we develop practicable suggestions in order to counteract the occurrence of a reason for opening insolvency proceedings by legal and entrepreneurial means. Based on our know-how in the field of business administration and tax law, we develop e. g. restructuring plans with the appropriate calculations in order to avoid insolvency and conduct negotiations necessary for restructuring with the lenders.
Furthermore, we join negotiations with suppliers and creditors and point out legal possibilities and commercial options for eliminating the obligation to file an insolvency petition and for successfully restructuring your company. In order to conduct so-called ‘protective shield proceedings’ (Schutzschirmverfahren), we have been cooperating for years in a competence network with the law firm Dettmer Rechtsanwälte – Insolvency Administration and Restructuring – in Cologne and Bonn.
In the event of unavoidable insolvency proceedings, we are available as advisors and counsels of record and attempt to avoid adverse legal consequences for our clients. This includes in detail the following services:
